Turnham Primary School threw a party to celebrate its new hall and classrooms

Turnham Primary School celebrated the start of Summer half term with an open day and street party. They used the occasion to officially open the new extension on top of the existing school building, which completed in time for the return to school after spring half term. The new spacious hall can be used for all sorts of school needs: it was great to see the children enjoying the hall for dance, and the school has also used it for whole school assemblies and quiet film screenings. The new class rooms are now decked in the pupils’ colourful drawings, bringing life to these light, fresh spaces for learning.
