COVID-19: 3D Printed visors for the NHS

We delivered last Friday our first twenty-five 3D printed elements for NHS PPE visors. FAC Technology assembles the components and delivers to London hospitals for free.

This week we hope to ramp up production and be able to deliver 100+ components as we iron out the wrinkles in production.

From downloading the digital file we were up and running producing within an hour.  We first printed a single element and progressed to print eight at a time, and let the printer run a bigger stack over the weekend. See the images from last week's production.

This is an absolutely fascinating example of distributed local manufacturing for critical components.
