Crear is an inspirational working space on the west coast of Scotland; it connects individuals and organizations across the arts worldwide through innovative residencies and collaborations. The studio and rehearsal space, with accommodation, provides a unique resource to hire for retreats, arts and business.

We worked with Crear to develop this inspirational vision. The end result is a beautiful modern interior set within the old buildings and providing inspirational views of the astounding landscape around. Used by international artists, the design provides the ideal surroundings to support their artistic endeavours.

The property lies in the middle of a very large private family estate on the West coast of Argyll. The old sheep barn at the heart of the property has become the central studio and the main performance space offering sweeping views of the Paps of Jura though a large glazed wall which offers stunning vistas at sunset.

Edward Williams Architects developed a large creative studio for music and visual arts workshops with detached recording studio and performance spaces. Ancillary high specification accommodation includes a living room with a large dining table, a kitchen and six luxury bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms.
