An exciting new restaurant concept for the young celebrity chef Adam Handling in Covent Garden, London.
The Frog is the new flagship restaurant for the young celebrity chef, Adam Handling. In a fully refurbished building the heart of Covent Garden, Adam and his team now have a spectacular space in which to create his world class cuisine. We led the team to refurbish the entirety of the new restaurant so as to provide an open exhibition kitchen on the ground, floor, which forms a stunning backdrop for the diners. We also provided a secondary entrance to access the lower ground floor where Adam’s new bar, “Eve” is located, as well as a private dining room.Existing features were retained where possible. We worked sensitively with the original structure to draw out the elegance of the space, whilst retaining and enhancing original features such as the structural cast iron columns. The result is a powerful combination of the old and new which creates an elegant, yet contemporary dining experience. A clean elegant space, designed with rich natural materials and an organic palette also makes for an atmospheric working environment for Adam to create his contemporary fusion dishes which combine “technical savvy with the best possible produce, and a lightly theatrical touch”.
