This is a refurbishment project of a large lower ground floor family apartment on Queen’s Gate in London. The building is Grade II listed and the work involved careful negotiations with the Local Authority (Royal Borough of Kensington & Chelsea). The main entrance from street level was improved, main family room and kitchen refurbished to include a full width and height storage wall and library with integrated multi-media units, and the family’s extensive art collection is housed in a series of two long galleries running the length of the house.

The master bedroom and bathroom were significantly improved with specialist tailored cabinetry made to measure. Based on a Japanese bathing theme, the secret bathroom with overhead light created an oasis at the heart of the project with perfectly detailed bath and wash hand basins.

This careful product design for the bathroom, from specialist bath to wash hand basins and stool cum toy box allowed us to explore the very best of English craftsmanship for our client.
